Longnose hawkfish (Eng) - Oxycirrhites typus (Lat) - grows to 13 cm, feeds on small crustaceans. Active predator, hunts out of hiding in the branches of gorgonian corals, or black corals.
Habitat:
Red Sea, Indo-Pacific - Maldives, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, warm waters around coral reefs
