Axilspot hogfish - Bodianus axillaris - this hogfish grows up to 20 cm. Recognizable by black spot on the pectoral fin base, yellow fin, red-brown body. It feeds on benthic invertebrates. Observed at depths 2-100 m, usially 5-40 m

Habitat:

Red Sea, Indo-Pacific - Maldives, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines
