Splitlevel hogfish (Eng) – Bodianus mesothorax (Lat) (family Labridae) – grows up to 25 cm. Easily recognizable by distinctive appearance - looks like the fish is divided into two halves - the dark front and light rear. It feeds on small fishes and crustaceans. Depth <35 m
