Saw-jawed monocle bream (Eng) – Scolopsis ciliata (Lat) (family Nemipteridae) – grows up to 19 cm. It feeds on small fishes and benthic invertebrates. Easy to identify due to yellow dots on sides and white bar beneath the dorsal fin. Depth 2-25 m

Habitat:

Indo-Pacific - from Andaman Sea to Vanuatu - Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia
