Two-lined monocle bream (Eng) – Scolopsis bilineata (Lat) (family Nemipteridae) – grows up to 23 cm. It feeds on small fishes and benthic invertebrates. Active at daytime. As a protogynous hermaphrodite, can change gender. Depth 5-40 m

Habitat:

Indo-Pacific - Maldives, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, GBR, Papua - tropical and subtropical seas
