Yellowfin parrotfish (Eng) – Scarus flavipectoralis (Lat) (family Scaridae) – grows up to 40 cm. It feeds on corals, algae. Dwells in deep lagoons, passages between coral formations, the depth 15-35 meters. Recognizable by the yellow pectoral fin (males) and the green bar on the head from the upper jaw to the pectoral fins
