Welcome to part Six of our 2012 Lembeh Strait Highlight series.  This week we see the fabulous Cephalopods of the Strait.  Lembeh has a higher concentration of tropical Cephalopods than anywhere in the world.  There are at least 12 species of Octopus alone including t he big five:  Mimic, Wunderpus, Coconut Octopus, Blue Ring Octopus and Hairy Octopus.  We also have Starry Night, Long Arm, Algae, White V, Mototi and the Common Reef Octopus.  The strait is also home to numerous species of Cuttlefish and Squid.  The Flamboyant Cuttlefish and Pygmy Cuttlefish are always popular.  Hatching Flamboyant Cuttlefish babies are a particular Lembeh Strait treat.  Tune in next week for the grand finale as we debut of the complete 2012 Lembeh Strait Highlights.  You will be able to watch all six parts, a total of nearly 15 minutes of fabulous Lembeh Strait Critters in one film.
